This entry i created is for people who still did not get the different between karspersky that is being sold by the agent and the one in the box. As to answer that question, i am creating this entry for all of you.
Karspersky is well known by their antivirus and internet security which can be used other than norton, panda, avg, avira, mcafee, and others. It is known for it cheapness can we get in our country of Malaysia. Due to the cheap price, we become intimidated if it is the real thing or not. So we tend to investigate it first, and i will solve your problem.
Agent karspersky
For this type of karspersky, they only provide the activation code only (or key) which we have to install the software downloaded from the website. Activation code is the one that you have to put to activate the full function of the software plus allowed to update realtime.
As you can see, there is the word "key" there. That is the activation key you need to put for your purchase. Although mine is only trial, it still need the activation key for full function.
Why it is cheaper than the one sold in the market? Because it is not sold in the box, no cd, no packaging, no multiple agent (no second, third and so on person), no transfer fee and no many time used to spend (because it is online and mobile phone only). It is directly connected to the karspersky malaysia or sometime karspersky malaysia. For more cheaper price, the agent bought in bulky capacity. So they can sold it lesser ringgit malaysia (RM).
But please beware of fake agent, in which they give you NON GENUINE CODE / NON FRESH CODE and USED CODE (which exceed the maximum limit). For this problem, make sure you can trust the agent and always after installing the code, check for the days remaining (which should show 365days left unless you are using code for one month trial- 30days). But do not become panic, because somtimes it might due to internet server problem. So if you have any problem, contact your agent again and consult them.
As the price right now for karspersky antivirus 2014, it is around RM15 per user while RM20 per user for internet security.

Box karspersky
Same with the other karspersky, but it come with box and many other things which you can not get from the agent. But still, we only need the function only. It is more pricey as you may also have to pay the worker and the shop rent. HaHa. So no offense.
It price in Malaysia market right now (October 2013) around RM 50 for antivirus. While RM75 for internet security (Cycom) and RM69 (Viewnet).

If you are buying the Karspersky in the box from the third party (dealer), they have to increase the price so that they get the income from the sell. Who is the one got to pay for the parking in the lowyat, car petrol, dealer time spend, energy expenditure and tol fare. However, if you are feeling the price is still low, it is because the dealer did not get any income from the sell as the seller may be treating you ( OR get another income from another item which cover your pay).
But it your choice to choose, because every consumer have your right. So have fun choosing.
